Max's - Pär Larshans does it again. The message of sustainability and ecology in business has been featured in a few more places since last we posted.
For example his message and company was in a December 8th featurette by the BBC. To see this, please click here.
When the Special Advisor to UNEP Finance Initiative In the Asia-Pacific region, Mr. Takejiro Sueyoshi, went to Scandinavia during the Copenhagen Summit, and met Par in December 15th, he had this to say about the work at Max's: "My visit to Max was a great opportunity for me to learn its Sustainability. Max`s Sustainability is consist of three perspectives, Ethical, Social and Ecological. Those three perspectives cover all what we need to make business sustainable. I hope Max`s Sustainability would be one of the leading models in the world, not only in the fast food but also in every business."
Later, Pär was endorsed by Sir Paul McCartney in the British Parliment on December 17th. Later in December 27th, Par was interviewed on the Canadian radio program the Food Show.
Some very knowledgeable people in this regard are Jan Esensjö and Susan Petrina. They are the the consultants to first took THE (in many facets) to MAX.

That is a good question, Jens.
I am sure that there are many ways Firo Theory helped create this result, however, it would be nice to get some clarity regarding about them, as there are many ways one can go. Is it possible for someone who is more involved give some more information about this? I am sure many would like to know more.
It all makes me curious, in what way is the Firo Therory applayed into the Max chain and its filosophy? Its got to be more than just openness.

If you want to know more about the costs of carbon emissions and some of the other things Max's is doing to help, look at the documentary that first was shown on the BBC on October 23rd.
You can find a link to it by going to Links in the Menu and then selecting Counting the Costs, under Interesting THE Links.
