Par Larshans, the Director of Human Resources at Max’s Hamburgers in Sweden, has been doing amazing work at Max’s in the area of sustainability.He has gone beyond environmental sustainability and built in human sustainability as well.
Using FIRO Theory and The Human Element, he has demonstrated how using the concepts of truth, choice and awareness build a stronger bottom line.His work has been internationally recognized and he was recently in London where he received the 2009 Green Award on November 18th, which recognizes the work Max’s is doing combining social and ecological sustainability.
Many people are contacting him to learn more about what he is doing. A few delegations from Japan and other countries have visited and have shown interest in learning more about what max’s is doing. This could be the start of a new trend.
